Liviu Automation
for Mac.
An unofficial Mac app that installs and runs your own licensed Autodesk Revit on Apple-silicon Macs, through a private, patched Wine runtime.

Unsigned early beta — Mac only. This DMG installs Liviu Automation, an unofficial compatibility app, not Autodesk Revit itself. Requires an Apple-silicon Mac; it does not install on Windows PCs. Apple Developer ID signing and notarization are not yet available. macOS may block the first launch. Read the beta installation notes before downloading.
HOW IT WORKS
Download and open
Copy the app to Applications and open it. Accept its Terms of Use, then choose Install location… to use an external APFS or Mac OS Extended SSD. Existing installations are not moved. Keep the drive connected while installing and using Revit.
Drag in your Revit installer
Drop Autodesk's official "Create Installer" download or the full offline Revit 2026 or 2027 installer onto the app. For Direct Download, keep the matching .exe and .7z together and drop either file. Create Installer downloads the complete media when needed, then setup begins. Sign in with your own Autodesk account.
Drag in any plugin
Optional: drop a Revit plugin or add-in in to install it. Add-ins are new and untested live, and many will not work under Wine.

Installing is free. Test This Mac and Viewer mode are available for Revit 2026 only. Revit 2027 requires Full mode and your Autodesk licence.
Full mode
14 days free, no card. Then $4.99 per month for one active Mac per licence.
Cancel any time. Cancel within 7 days of a charge and get that charge back in full.
Hosted checkout with Apple Pay, Google Pay, cards and Link. Stripe is the seller of record and handles tax. International customers are welcome: checkout serves most countries and shows your own currency where it can.
REQUIREMENTS
- macOS 14 or later, Apple silicon
- Your own Autodesk licence and official Revit 2026 or 2027 installation media. Revit 2027 is an experimental architecture beta: Assistant, Structure, Steel and structural analysis tools are disabled; Steel Connections is unavailable.
- 16 GB memory recommended. An 8 GB Mac has limited memory headroom; larger models can be slow or fail to open.
- About 45 GB free on the selected installation drive and internet during setup.
- Beta: tested so far on one Mac only, an 8 GB M2 MacBook Air with macOS 26.6, Revit 2026.1 and basic Revit 2027 model workflows. A fresh base-2026 installation is unverified. Other Macs and macOS versions are untested.
